EVERYONE loves being able to get money off their groceries – especially considering we’re in a cost of living crisis.
And while Costco is a store many people head to in order to stock up on discounted products, you have to have a membership to shop there.

However, there’s a little-known store that’s like Costco that’s slowly making a name for itself – Evans for Everyone.
The cash and carry is open to the public and has floor-to-ceiling stock of items, all up to 70% off the recommended retail price.
In a video on TikTok, an employee of the store gushed about the biggest pros of shopping there, as she said anyone’s welcome, and you definitely don’t need a membership.
“The major difference between us and Costo is that we do not require a membership fee,” she said.
“We do have thousands and thousands of products with up to 70% off the recommended retail price, just without the membership cost.”
And the store sells a “bit of everything” – from drinks and snacks to household items and pet food, all at a huge discount.
“If you do ever get a chance to come down, come and have a look,” she concluded.
“Anyone is more than welcome to just come and have a browse.”
“Bit like Costco.. Just without the membership fee,” she added in the caption.
Evans for Everyone currently has two locations – Coventry and Birmingham – but also has an online shopping website and delivers nationwide.
People were quick to comment on the video, with one asking: “Is it cos the best before date expires within a week or 2?”
“Not all.. some 2025 dates,” the woman replied.
“We show all dates in product title”.
“There’s a catch. Whats the spending limit?” another asked.
“No minimum spend,” the woman responded.
“Poundland Costco,” a third labelled the store.
While others insisted there are more than a few differences between Costco and Evans for Everyone.
“The major difference is Costco do discounted fuel,” one wrote.
“That alone offsets the membership fee.”
“Do you guys do fuel as well? Because Costco do premium diesel for less than 1.40/L,” another agreed.
“Can I get a hotdog and a drink for £1.50?” a third joked.
As someone else asked if they do “free samples” – another perk Costco is famous for.
“Costco make 70% of their money just from membership cost,” another pointed out.
Items currently on offer at Evans for Everyone includes cases of 10 Yazoo Strawberry for £7.26, and 12 cans of Rubicon Raw for £5.38.
They also offer mystery bundles – with boxes of 10 items coming in at £23.
