WE’VE all been there when we’re rushed off our feet while out shopping and in serious need of a pick-me up.
And now one cash-saving pro has shared how you can get a cup of coffee and packet of biscuits for just 30p in between browsing the aisles.
Social media user Cost Of Living Crisis Tips, aka @costoflivingcrisistips, regularly dishes out advice on how to beat the high prices in supermarkets and the high street.
And in one of his latest TikTok videos, he revealed his simple hack to bag the 30p food and drinks goodies.
And he said the trick was to head to your local Waitrose store to take advantage of a great – but little own – in-store offer.
At the beginning of the video, the social media user panned in on a packet of the supermarket’s Essential Custard Creams, which are currently priced at 30p instead of 35p.
He then explained: “Waitrose sells custard creams for 30 pence.
“But the good thing about Waitrose is that if you’re a member, you get a free coffee with any purchase.
“So you end up with a nice cup of coffee and biscuits for just 30p.”
Cost Of Living Crisis Tips revealed that all you need to do is swipe or scan your membership card to be able to redeem the freebie.
And fellow savvy shoppers couldn’t believe that they’d never heard of it before.
But they assured him that they’d be taking full advantage in the future.
One person wrote: “Didn’t know that!”
A second person added: “Now that’s a good deal!”
Another typed: “This is an amazing deal if you’re buying coffees every day.”

Elsewhere, someone described it as a “great hack”, as more spread the word among their family and friends by tagging them in the video.
Meanwhile, others said they had already cottoned onto the trick, and could confirm that it works a treat.
One person wrote: “I walk down to my local Waitrose (bring your own cup!) and always get my coffee.”
Another added: “This is a great deal.
“I have also been in and bought one onion for the free coffee.”
