A MUM has shared how she had to fork out an extra £20 in Toby Carvery after making a vital mistake during their special summer deal.
Like many restaurants and eateries, Toby Carvery, too, runs a deal during the school holidays in summer.

But one mum issued a stark warning after making a mistake that cost her a whopping £20[/caption]
According to the family-loved British chain, kids can enjoy a main meal for £1 upon a presentation of a voucher you can redeem on their app.
This will allow up to 2 children per party to have a main meal for £1 per full paying adult, the website stated, adding that the offer expires on Friday, 1st September.
Some of the menu options in the Children’s Mains include yummy veggie fingers, a chicken burger, mac’n’cheese, tomato and meatball pasta, as well as three sausages with a Yorkshire pudding.
The best part? With all of the children’s main meals, hungry fooodies can help themselves to unlimited veggies and potatoes from the carvery deck.
Since its launch, the deal has become a favourite for many parents, who regularly rave about the restaurant online.
One such fan, Claire Ambler, took to Facebook to inform others about the bargain steal.
”I’ve just seen this on the Toby Carvery app,” she wrote in her post.
”Thought it might come in useful for those with kids/grandkids/etc.”
However, what many may not know, the deal excludes drinks – and unfortunately, one mum, Stephanie Ng, learnt it the hard way.
Issuing a stark warning, she commented: ”Just don’t buy drinks – ask for tap water!

”We made the mistake of asking for drinks a few years ago and added about £20 to the bill,” the mum-of-four explained.
However, if your kids insist on having a drink, the eatery has plenty of picks to choose from, such as Pip’s Organic Pineapple & Mango Smoothie and Robinsons Apple & Blackcurrant Squash.
Other favourites include vegan-friendly Pip’s Organic Strawberry & Banana Smoothie and Fruit Shoot® Apple & Blackcurrant.
Meanwhile, for those with smaller tummies, such as five and under, Toby Carvery has mini meals – these are smaller portions of their most popular children’s dishes.
