A WETHERSPOONS staff member shared the most annoying thing customers do when ordering food.
Influencer Katie, who posts on TikTok with the handle @kqtiewhitney, joked that some people seem to think they’ve come to a Michelin star restaurant.

The TikToker acted out a skit where she demonstrated how snobby some people can be.
Firstly she joked that people will order fancy drinks that aren’t on offer like martinis from the famous budget chain.
She showed herself explaining that they don’t do martinis but offering the patron something else.
They then ordered another cocktail that Wetherspoons don’t offer and a glass of wine also not on the list.
She then suggested that the customer actually read the menu before ordering.
Next up the snooty punter walked away from the bar without waiting for their drinks – expecting them to be brought to the table.

And in another frustrating move, the customer then tried to order from the waitress while they were by the table – rather than going up to the bar.
Fellow TikTokers were quick to comment agreeing with the influencer’s assessment.
One person said: “Customers not reading the menu is my ick.”
Another said: “A guy asked me if we served wine AT A GREGGS.”
A third said: “Imagine if they saw the microwaves.”
Another said: “I work at a literal Red Robin and somebody ordered a martini. Like: ‘Ma’am, we have beer and a bright blue cocktail with whipped cream. Choose one.’”
