SAINSBURY’S has sent foodies wild after slashing the price of cult favourite biscuits to just pennies in a major post-New Year’s sale.
Christmas may be over – but that doesn’t mean that we’re sick of eating sweet treats just yet, and if your secret stash is running low then you might want to check out this bargain deal.

According to thrifty shoppers, bargain-mad customers can now get their hands on fan favourite biscuits for just 6p – and the offer could be worth skipping your New Year’s resolutions.
Informing others about the bargain find, one mum, Charlene Woracker, took to TikTok to show off some of the goodies she had stumbled across whilst walking around Sainsbury’s.
According to the single mother-of-four, the mega supermarket has cut the price of several treats in the biscuit aisle, where thrifty foodies can now bag Gingerbread Custard Cream Twists for a mere 6p.
Another incredible find Charlene spotted was a pack of Black Forest Bourbon Twists slashed from 32p to just 6p – or more than 5x the original price.
Fellow chocolate lovers will be delighted to know that as part of its epic post-festive sale Sainsbury’s is also offering cult favourite Tony’s Chocoloney Christmas Pouch for 50p – or a staggering 5x less the starting price of £2.50.
Meanwhile, if you fancy something savoury, then Jacobs Mini Cheddars Caddy can be snapped up for under a quid – £2.50 down to just 75p, saving you £1.75.
Another great addition to stock up your cupboard with is the Carr’s Selection, which boasts different types of crackers – perfect for hosting a party.
Foodies can enjoy wheatmeal, poppy and sesame, as well as wheatgram crackers – and more – for £1.35 down from an eye-watering £4.50.
Chuffed with the bargain find, the mum-of-four, from Sheffield, was raving about the deal.
”Can’t believe how cheap they are, such a good price!” she noted in the video.
Clearly impressed with the epic prices, dozens of social media users flooded to comments to tag their pals and let them know about the offers.
One wrote: ”I’m loving Sainsbury’s at the minute, with a nectar card you can get some really good deals.”
Another cried moaning that they probably won’t be able to get any of the goodies.

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
”how…..lol. ours sell out as soon they get put on the first reduction. put a 10p discount on them and everyone grabs them like gold dust.”
Someone else had, luckily, managed to get their hands on the treats – and gave a promising review.
”I got 16 pks of each for my family and bros yesterday. custard creams smell taste really strong ginger bread very sweet. The bourbons smell taste like bakewell tarts.”
”Them custard cream biscuits are 10/10, my store ran out before new years,” a shopper said.
”the biscuits are 19p in my Sainsbury’s,” someone else chimed in.
