WANT to elevate your roasts at home for just 29p?

Shoppers have been racing to Aldi to stock up on their wagyu beef dripping which has been slashed down from £1.29.

Aldi fans have been raving about their wagyu beef dripping[/caption]

Not only can you lather on your roast potatoes, but you can also use it to baste meat while roasting too.

You could also add a small amount to your sauces, or use when frying things like French fries, potato chips, and chicken.

A shopper showed this week how they spotted the deal at Aldi in Portsmouth.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, they uploaded a photo showing the discounted jars in the supermarket.

They added that the jars were showing best before July 2026, meaning you aren’t in a rush to use it up right away.

However, it could be the perfect addition to a Sunday roast this chilly January.

Many shoppers seemed keen to stock up on the fancy dripping at the purse-friendly price.

The Facebook post has racked up numerous likes and comments from food lovers and bargain hunters.

One person wrote: “I’ll try get in tomorrow.”

Another added: “I made my roasties with this on xmas day. OMG !!! They were absolutely delicious.

“There was an actual scramble going on for them.”
The initial poster revealed they had bought it for Christmas but it has now become a staple item for their Sunday roasts.

They replied: “Had it on our roasties every weekend since. At 29p I stocked up.”

Another person added: “A pan of home made chips with that !!!! Imagine.”

It’s not the only Aldi product causing a stir.

Aldi hot product

We shared how shoppers are rushing to buy their £10 Specialbuy that can make radiators more effective and slash energy bills this winter.

With temperatures plunging, Aldi is stocked up on a bargain buy that could help you stay toasty while cutting down your energy bills.

The Superfoil Radiator Reflector, which costs just £9.99, is designed to make your radiators more efficient by reducing heat loss and ensuring your home stays warmer for longer.

Available in-store only, this nifty device is a must-have for those looking to save on their heating costs this winter.

The Superfoil Radiator Reflector is a heat-saving product that fits behind your radiators to reflect warmth back into your room, rather than letting it escape through the walls.

Aldi claims it can cut heat loss by an impressive 86 per cent, making it a savvy choice for households trying to stay warm without cranking up the thermostat.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
