A NEW multi-billion theme park is set to open in 2028, with seven themed lands.
The Land of Legends theme park will be open in the Qatar, becoming one of the largest in the Middle East.

Brits may have already head of the Land of Legends theme park in Turkey, which is already open.
The new development is a collaboration between the team behind the Turkish park – FTG Development – and real estate investment company Qatari Diar.
The seven lands will have attractions and experiences based on different themes, set across 650,000sqm.
Restaurants as well as two hotels will be part of the theme park.
Little else is known about the theme park, although it hope to welcome as many as two million tourists a year.
Work has already started with it set to open in 2028.
Fettah Tamince, founder of FTG Development and president of Land of Legends, said: “We are delighted to bring the unique Land of Legends experience to Qatar with our partner Qatari Diar, creating a destination that is more than just a theme park or hotel.
“It is a lively world of entertainment and leisure that will add a new dimension to Qatar’s attractions and become a top choice for holidays and fun for millions in the region.”
The new theme park is part of the new mega entertainment district in Qatar, Simaisma Project.
Stretched over 8million sqm, there will be luxury resorts, golf course, yacht club, restaurants and shops, as well as the new theme park.
Around 30 miles from Doha, the works are set to take place up to 2030.
In the mean time, you can visit the existing Land of Legends theme park in Turkey.
The theme park has been dubbed the “Turkish Disneyland,” being the largest entertainment complex in the country.
Located in Antalya, there are two waterparks and two theme park areas.
The main rides include the Hyper Coaster with speeds up to 71mph in just three minutes while the waterparks have 70 waterslides.
And a new Nickelodeon Land is opening at the park in 2025 with Paw Patrol and Spongebob rides.

Next time you visit a theme park, you may want to use our top tips to make the most of your adrenaline-inducing day out.
- Go to the back of the theme park first. Rides at the front will have the longest queues as soon as it opens.
- Go on water rides in the middle of the day in the summer – this will cool you off when the sun is at its hottest.
- Download the park’s app to track which rides have the shortest queues.
- Visit on your birthday, as some parks give out “birthday badges” that can get you freebies.
- If it rains, contact the park. Depending on how much it rained, you may get a free ticket to return.
