Epic Games Fans Rush To Grab ‘tasty’ Game For FREE – And Two More Are Coming Next Week

EPIC Games Store has revealed two games it will be giving away for free next week, and gamers can grab a tasty one right now.

The Fortnite maker’s digital store released its new freebie on Thursday, and revealed two games that will be available for free from October 12, 2023.

Next week, Epic Games fans will get first-person puzzlers in Q.U.B.E. Ultimate Bundle and pirate game Blazing Sails[/caption]

Godlike Burger is this week’s free game from Epic Games, and it’s a restaurant management sim in space.

You play as a maniac chef who strives to make the best burgers in the galaxy, but there’s a catch.

Instead of using regular meat, you kill some of your alien customers to use them as ingredients for your tasty burgers.

The weird premise sounds similar to last month’s hugely successful game, Dave the Diver, but with a cannibalistic twist.

You run your restaurant by day, serving or killing clients, while at night you upgrade your kitchen, set up traps, and prepare “secret sauces”.

The game feels like an acquired taste, but as it’s being given away for free, you’re only paying with your time if you try it.

Players have until October 12, 2023, at 4pm UK time to grab Godlike Burger, before it’s swapped for next week’s games, which were announced today.

Next week Epic will be giving away two titles, but technically players will be getting three games for free.

The first one is Blazing Sails, a fast-paced pirate Battle Royale game, where you team up with other players to command your ship and survive against other crews.

It promises epic naval battles, different game modes, and treasure hunts, giving off strong Sea of Thieves vibes but with battle royale elements.

The other title coming for free next week is Q.U.B.E. Ultimate Bundle, which includes two games, Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary Edition and Q.U.B.E. 2 Deluxe Edition.

The latter also comes with the Q.U.B.E. 2 Season Pass that unlocks additional content.

The Q.U.B.E. games are first-person puzzlers, where you traverse levels and solve physics-based puzzles by manipulating objects.

It’s somewhat similar to the Portal series of games, which are the most celebrated in the genre.

If first-person puzzle platformers feel like your thing, Steam is running a sale on The Talos Principle, a very special example in the genre.

Blazing Sails and Q.U.B.E. Ultimate Bundle will be up for grabs from October 12 to October 19, 2023, and until then, players have one week to snatch Godlike Burger.

To claim the games and play them, you only need to have a free Epic Games account, and download the Epic Games Launcher app on your PC.
