Where is Prince Andrew today?

June 4, 2022
in Covid-19

AS the Platinum Jubilee continues across the weekend, one royal face will be notably absent from the festivities.

Prince Andrew will not be seen across the bank holiday weekend as he has tested positive for Covid.

Where is Prince Andrew today?

Eagle eyed viewers spotted that Prince Andrew, 62, was missing from Trooping the Colour on Thursday, June 2.

It has since been announced that Andrew has tested positive for Covid, forcing him to pull out from Platinum Jubilee events.

A palace spokesman said: “After undertaking a routine test the Duke has tested positive for Covid and with regret will no longer be attending tomorrow’s service.”

The Queen has also decided not to attend the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral today due to her ongoing mobility issues.

However, it is understood that even if Andrew did not have Covid, he still would not be permitted to attend the service.

Senior royals were apparently outraged that Andrew took centre stage by escorting the Queen at the Prince Philip Memorial Service in March.

The Telegraph reported that Prince Charles and Prince William were among senior royals “astounded that Andrew would take centre stage” after he settled his sex abuse case with Virginia Giuffre earlier this year.

Trooping the Colour and the RAF flypast saw some controversy as non-working royals were not permitted on the famed Buckingham Palace balcony.

This meant that Andrew and the Sussexes were not invited onto the balcony, although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still seen attending the event.

Who did Prince Andrew get Covid from?

Andrew was last pictured on Wednesday, riding his horse around the Windsor Estate, where he resides.

It is unknown as to where the Prince caught Covid and who from.

I’m a lip reader – William gave Kate these clear instructions at the service

He has been away from the public eye recently due to the Virginia Giuffre sexual abuse case.

Andrew has vehemently denied the assault claims but reached a £12million settlement in February to stop the case proceeding to a civil trial.

Does The Queen have Covid?

Before testing positive Andrew had recently seen the Queen, although he has not seen her since confirming his Covid status.

Her Majesty’s health has been steady over the past few months but officials shared that she is struggling with mobility issues.

While she did not attend the main event during Trooping the Colour, she was seen smiling from the royal balcony.

The Queen herself had Covid previously in February 2022.

She tested positive for the virus, but only experienced “mild cold-like symptoms”.

If you’re looking for a way to add new life to your office, buying some plants is a good way to spruce the place up while also improving productivity. After all, plants do much more than make the rooms they occupy look more beautiful and brighter. They also improve the mood and productivity of the people who inhabit those spaces. Why are plants good for productivity? They enhance mental health As human beings, we have an innate desire to connect with nature in its many forms. This is why pets are so popular, and it’s why some offices have an office pet or allow people to bring their pets in. This is also the same reason why offices invest in green spaces for their employees. According to a 2015 study by the Journal of Physiological Anthropology, plants can make people feel more comfortable and soothed. More specifically, plants ease both physiological and psychological stress. For this reason, adding some greenery to the office can help keep your employees happier. While some employers have the budget to cultivate an entire garden, this isn’t always feasible. Even so, investing in a few plants here and there in the office can make a world of a difference to the wellbeing of your employees at work. Simply being around a plant and touching its flowers and leaves can ease stress and boost happiness. Gardening is also a fulfilling chore for those who add plants to their home offices. If you’re working from home, adding some foliage to your workspace can be the perfect way to create a conducive work environment. They protect physical health Plants have also proven to speed up healing and boost immunity. Being around plants reduces the concentration of cortisol while lowering your pulse rate and blood pressure. Plants also benefit those around them by purifying the air. More specifically, plants absorb toxins through their leaves and turn them into food sources in their roots. By absorbing these toxins, they leave us breathing in cleaner air, therefore keeping us healthier. Houseplants do an especially good job at eliminating the following toxins: • Xylene – found in the paint, tobacco smoke, and nail polish • Ammonia – found in fertilizers and cleaning products • Formaldehyde – found in synthetic fabrics, wood products, serviettes, and tissues • Benzene – found in detergents, vehicle exhaust, lubricants, and adhesive • Trichloroethylene – found in household cleaners, varnishes, and paint Thanks to these functions, simply being around plants can keep you healthier. In fact, workplaces that invest in plants report fewer cases of sick employees. Additionally, when you’re sick, being around plants or even the view of a garden can speed up your recovery. They boost concentration Since plants reduce stress and create a soothing environment, they have the added benefit of improving concentration in an office. With higher levels of concentration, your employees are likely to produce higher quality of work. If you’re working from home, adding some plants to your home will help you continue to produce quality work, making you a valuable employee. They improve creativity Given that plants put people at ease, it’s not surprising that they also boost creativity. When people are working in a tranquil environment, they’re likely to feel more inspired. Whether you’re an employer looking for better results from your workforce or you’re an employee who wants to do a better job, just one or two plants can create a space that fuels new ideas.
