What seems to be a leak of major new games for the PC – including unannounced Xbox titles – is just ‘speculative’ according to Nvidia.
So here’s an odd story. A dataminer has uncovered a huge list of new titles coming to PC, including PlayStation 5 games such as Returnal and Demon’s Souls, new Xbox games such as Gears Of War 6, and new remasters of Bioshock and Half-Life 2.
Compiled by developer Ighor July and SteamDB founder Pavel Djundik the games were datamined from Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service, with the full list available here.
It includes an extraordinary number of unannounced titles, including previously rumoured games and some completely unknown until now, but Nvidia has told Wccftech that the list is merely of ‘speculative titles’ and is ‘used only for internal tracking and testing’.
What that means isn’t exactly clear, because if all they wanted to do was have some made-up names then going to all the trouble to include obscure Xbox codenames and likely-but-not-announced sequels seems a peculiar way to go about it.
But if you assume the person doing the work was a gamer, and maybe a bit bored at work, the idea of filling the database with established rumours and educated guesses becomes easier to believe.
The alternative is that all the listed games are real and Nvidia already knows about them, and it’s hard to dispute that one way or the other.
On the one hand you’ve got listings for games that seem extremely unlikely, such as Bayonetta 3 on PC, or which have already been outright denied by their creators. And then on the other you have things like Xbox title Project Indus, which has never been mentioned until now, but which other sources claim is real.

The idea that the list is at least partially correct gains further credence when you factor in that many developers have been using GeForce Now to coordinate their work during the pandemic, when most people have been working from home.
The safest option is take all this with a shipping container of salt but even if it is all entirely fabricated things like God Of War on PC and Gears 6 do seem inevitable at some point.
Below is our curated list of the most eye-catching titles, along with comments, where relevant, of which are particularly notable or unlikely.
Batman: Arkham Knight RTX Remaster (GeForce RTX is Nvidia’s high end graphics card line, with a heavy focus on ray-tracing)

Bioshock 2022 (a new entry has been hinted at for years but never announced)
BioShock RTX Remaster
Chrono Cross Remaster (never previously hinted at by Square Enix)
Crysis 4 (it’s easy to imagine the recent remasters have been leading up to this)
