Kilimanjaro, Tanzania — September 1–14, 2026
Forget everything you thought a “DJ set” could look like. This September, Nigerian-American DJ, producer, and cultural entrepreneur **DJ IREM$ (Samuel Enyi)** is trading the club for the clouds, hauling his decks up Africa’s tallest peak to attempt an **officially approved Guinness World Records feat: multiple record categories broken by a DJ in a single attempt** — some that have barely been tried, and some that have never been done at all.
And here’s the twist: you don’t have to watch this one from your phone. You can be on the mountain when it happens.
THE MISSION
Over 14 days — 7 to 9 days of hiking with built-in contingency days — DJ IREM$ will trek Kilimanjaro’s slopes toward the summit, carrying a full DJ setup to the roof of Africa. It’s audacious. It’s borderline unreasonable. That’s the point.
“This is bigger than me,” DJ IREM$ says. “This is for the culture. This is for every dreamer. This is for Africa.”
Beyond the record books, the climb is a statement: African dance music — Afro House, electronic, the sounds shaking dancefloors from Lagos to Lisbon — belongs on the world’s biggest stage, literally.
JOIN THE JOURNEY — YES, ACTUALLY JOIN
This isn’t a spectator sport. DJ IREM$ is opening the climb to adventurers, hikers, music heads, and anyone who’s ever wanted a story that starts with “so this one time, on Kilimanjaro…”

WHY SIGN UP?
Bragging rights that don’t expire. “I climbed Kilimanjaro” is a good story. “I climbed Kilimanjaro during an official Guinness World Records attempt” is a different tier of story.
A built-in community. Individuals join solo and leave with a crew. Groups arrive as friends and summit as family.
A front-row seat to history. Whatever happens at that summit, you’ll have been there when it did.
