Average Liverpool property prices

Liverpool’s property prices are rising faster than the national average, but prices remain significantly lower than the UK average. The city has seen plenty of recent development, with a host of new build developments across the city. In November 2024, the average property price in Liverpool was £208,000, according to Rightmove.

A flat in Liverpool costs an average of £161,000. Buyers can acquire terraced houses for an average of £162,000, making Liverpool an attractive prospect for first-time buyers and young professionals.

The average property prices in Liverpool remain some way below the UK average of £285,000 (according to the Office for National Statistics in December 2023). They are also currently almost £100,000 cheaper on average than the average price for England property (£302,000).
