PC gamers are getting two games completely free – here’s how to claim them

IT’S that time of the week again, when PC gamers are treated to one or more video games completely free.

This week, there are two titles up for grabs, and we already know next week’s game.

Skybound Games

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, a visual novel based on the popular TV show and comic book series, is the other free game from EGS.[/caption]

Call of the Wild: The Angler and Invincible Presents: Atom Eve are this week’s free games on the Epic Games Store.

PC gamers will have until March 28, 2024, at 3pm UK Time / 11am ET to grab both, before they’re swapped for the next offering.

A cozy open-world fishing game, Call of the Wild: The Angler let’s you sit back, relax and become a master fisher.

You can play on your own, or with friends in online co-op mode for up to 12 players.

The game has garnered mixed to average ratings on review aggregator Metacritic, with an overall score of 63, but now that it’s free, it’s worth a try.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is the other free game on EGS this week, and it’s a very recent release from November 2023.

You play as Atom Eve from the Invincible adult superhero show and comic book series.

The video game plays as an interactive visual novel, and is all about making decisions that shape your relationships with people as you lead your superhero life.

Atom Eve also features a turn-based combat system with special skills, which also feeds back into the story by unlocking unique dialogue options.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is sitting on a “Generally Favourable” 79 score on review aggregator Metacritic.

To claim this week’s freebies, you need a free Epic Games Store account.

You also require the Epic Games Launcher app installed on your PC in order to download and play your free purchases.

The two games are free from March 21 to 28, 2024, and we already know the next game that will be given away.

Islets is a cute metroidvania, where you play as Iko, an aspiring warrior who ventures to reunite a world composed of fragmented floating islands, or islets, if you will.

Featuring a gorgeous hand-painted art style, it’s a wholesome twist on the genre.

Islets will be free on the Epic Games Store for a week, starting on March 28, 2024.
