THERE’S nothing more annoying than making the perfect pancake, filling it with all sorts of sweet treats, then picking it up to eat it and it all falling apart.
But one home cook has shared the perfect way to prep your pancakes as Shrove Tuesday approaches – and it’s guaranteed to avoid any spillages.

She effectively divides the pancakes into quarters, which she then artfully folds[/caption]
The Folding Lady took to TikTok to share a video of how she folds her pancakes – beginning with a perfectly round pancakes on a plate.
She then cuts one line from the middle to the bottom of the pancake, effectively dividing it into quarters.
Nutella goes on the top right and bottom left quarters, before she adds some sliced strawberries to the bottom right quarter and banana to the top left.
She then takes the bottom left quarter and folds it up, so that it sits on top of the top left.
Then, she takes the top left and folds it sideways to the right, before taking that little parcel and folding it down to incorporate the bottom right quarter too.
Finally, she picks up the pancake to show how artfully and perfectly it has been folded, and tucks right in.

She was quickly praised by others for her folding technique, with one person writing: “Neeeever thought of this why?? Lol smaaart.”
Another added: “Best. Fold. Ever.”

The folding technique can also be used on wraps, either savoury or sweet, with once again little to no spillage.
